I tasted soooo many wines on my trip to Oregon Pinot Camp but told myself that I would choose only one to bring back. As it happened and fell in lust and returned with a sole bottle of Anne Amie Reserve Pinot. The plan was to save it for a special occasion, dinner or something of the sort but alas that was not to be. I arrived home last evening, after a very long day, to the sad realization that I had no wine in the house except for that bottle. Anyhow, I broke down and opened it only to find that it was horribly corked! As it glugged out of the bottle and down my drain a single, hot, salty tear fell sadly down my cheek and into the sink.

Did the winery compensate you for the corked bottle? Which one was it - the Winemaker's Selection? because I don't think they have a reserve.

My name is Thomas and I am the winemaker at Anne Amie. I'd happily replace the wine you opened that was corked- just let us know the wine and the vintage. If we are sold out of the vintage you purchased we will send what we have in stock- it may not be exactly what was corked! Sorry. Anyway, since I am talking about corked wines, I finally talked Kim, our sales and marketing goddess, into letting me put every wine we make into Stelvin. Problem solved from this point forward! My apologies.
Cheers and enjoy the 4th,
Thomas
